Matthew 21:12-15 tells of when Jesus came into the temple & overturned tables full of goods being traded & sold; his response to his house of prayer being turned into a place of greed. This song is an invitation for Christ to do the same to us as temples of the Holy Spirit... to take away everything within us that doesn't draw us closer to him & his overwhelming love.
